Lauch your kayak or paddleboard here for access to historical points of interest, extensive seagrass beds, and interesting wildlife. This small boat launch is the trail-head for the Perdido Key Blueway. This Perdido Key Blueway comprises the first 5.5 mile portion of the 1,515 mile Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail. 

This launch is not suitable for trailer boat launching. Parking is limited at this launch, you may need to unload and then park in the larger Rosamond Johnson Beach parking lots.

Do not enter historic military ruins near the site of Fort McRee or remove any historic artifacts on land or in the water.
