Quiet, calm, and scenic. The Owens Creek Picnic Area provides a wide variety of things to do for park patrons. With multiple picnic tables and grills, people can sit beneath the shade of the forest to relax and eat. The picnic area is a great place to start your exploration of the West Side trails of the park, including the Catoctin National Recreation Trail and the Browns Farm Trail. For those interested in history, the Owens Creek Saw Mill is also nearby.
