Dedicated on September 9, 1951, this small plaque recognizes the founding members of the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, an agricultural association and advocacy group. The organization was founded in 1867. This memorial is unique on the National Mall because it is the only marker for a private organization on this public ground.
