This building in currently used as park ranger offices for the Mammoth District of Yellowstone National Park. There are no public services at this building. All public services are across the street at the Albright Visitor Center.

The building was originally built in 1903 to provide offices for the US Army Corps of Engineers, who had responsibility for construction of the park roads. It was known as the US Army Corps of Engineers Offices during the time of the US Army's Fort Yellowstone.
