One of the quietest and shadiest spots for a picnic along Desert View Drive.

Picnic Table

This picnic area, located near Mile Marker 248 on the north side of SR 64 (Desert View Drive), has several picnic tables and is well shaded. Ponderosa pines provide year-round cover, while spring and summer feature even more shade from a few local gamble oaks. There is, however, unfortunately no view of Grand Canyon from here, nor are there restrooms.
