Quick Facts

Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits

Built in 1937 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA), the historic Log Cabin was originally a non-commissioned officers' club. The cabin's rustic wood and stone exterior is unlike any other building in the Presidio, but reminiscent of other WPA buildings in parks around the country.

With an open floor plan and wall-to-wall windows, the Log Cabin is one of the park's most popular venues for celebratory events. The large lawn area is ideal for wedding ceremonies or receptions and offers panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline.

Reservations for use are taken up to two years in advance, so start planning that sorority reunion now!
