This large, popular campground is on the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River within easy walking distance of Lodgepole Village. Many campsites are surrounded by lodgepole pine forest. In summer, this campground has 214 sites for tents, RVs, and trailers. In fall and spring, there are 16 walk-in tent sites and a limited number of RV sites, and at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042 m), the campground can be snowy in spring and fall. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, tent pad, and metal food storage boxes to protect food and scented items from bears. The campground also has flush toilets, a pay phone, and potable water. Nearby, Lodgepole Village offers a visitor center, market, and shower and laundry facilities. In summer, ride the free Sequoia Shuttle from the campground to Giant Forest to avoid waiting for parking.

Campground Information
- Some Lodgepole sites are available in late April, and the campground is fully open from late May to late September. Some sites remain open until mid-October, depending on weather conditions.
- In summer, this campground has 214 sites for tents, RVs, and trailers. In fall and spring, there are 16 walk-in tent sites and a limited number of RV sites.
- Sites are available by reservation at recreation.gov or by phone at 877-444-6777
- Lodgepole Campground has sites for RVs up to 42 feet (12.8 m) long. The campground has a dump station and a water station, but these are closed from mid-October to mid-May, depending on the weather. The campground has no hookups. Generators are allowed between 8 - 11 a.m. and 5 - 8 p.m.
- Pets are permitted within the campground, but must be leashed at all times.

Wildlife Information

You are required to store food properly to protect bears. Each campsite has a large food storage locker (47"W x 33"D x 28"H) that is resistant to bears when properly latched. Store food and all scented items, including toiletries, unopened cans and bottles, baby wipes, and lip balm. Store trash or dispose of it in bear-resistant trash cans or dumpsters. Remove baby car seats from your vehicle and store them near your food-storage box.
