Looking north-northeast from an elevation of 3,035 ft (925 m), Little Hogback Overlook gives you a narrow window from which to view Browntown Valley. A low ridge separates Browntown Valley from Shenandoah Valley further in the distance. Far in the distance Massanutten Mountain is visible with the Valley and Ridge Appalachians beyond. A section of the Appalachian Trail runs directly below this overlook.
