Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits

Gator ponds like this one attract birds, fish, turtles, and frogs that feed on the large numbers of minnows, snails, and aquatic insects. They, in turn, are fed upon by alligators. It's what is known to some as the food chain. If you stand here long enough you are bound to see an alligator. 

Warning. Never get closer than 15 feet to alligators. Do not feed alligators or any wildlife.
