Park and museum exhibits, brochures and signage, all see their start at the Interpretive Design Center. Housed on the center's three floors are the teams of HFC professionals who research, curate and design exhibits and acquire the historic furnishings needed by parks and museums. The members of the HFC staff here produce not only the cultural and historic content for park waysides or handbooks, but also the necessary map and tour information NPS official publications or digital media can provide, all of which, enhance park visitor experience.
