Fort Washington’s group picnic areas require a reservation April 1 through October 31. They can be reserved using Recreation.gov.
 

Area C has its own parking lot with about 50 parking spaces. It is reservable for up to 200 people. 

Area C has 25-28 picnic tables, several small pedestal grills and one large pedestal grill with three grill areas. There is a restroom in the area just a short walk from the tables. 

Many trees provide plenty of shade. The basketball court is located near the area. The court is open to all visitors and is not part of the reserved area.
