Fort Washington’s group picnic areas require a reservation April 1 through October 31. They can be reserved using Recreation.gov.

The B picnic area has four different areas that can be reserved, there is a large open field behind all the tables that is shared. There is one large parking lot shared by all the areas. A playground is in the area between B1 and B2. There are two restroom facilities on the outer edges of the space, closest to B1 and B4.

Picnic Area B4 can be reserved for up to 200 people. There are 25-28 picnic tables that are placed among the trees. The area has several small pedestal grills and one large pedestal grill with three grill areas.

There is a bathroom near the area.
