Fort Washington’s group picnic areas require a reservation April 1 through October 31. They can be reserved using Recreation.gov.
he B picnic area has four different areas that can be reserved, there is a large open field behind all the tables that is shared. There is one large parking lot shared by all the areas. A playground is in the area between B1 and B2. There are two restroom facilities on the outer edges of the space, closest to B1 and B4.
Picnic area B3 can be reserved for up to 200 people. It contains 25-28 picnic tables, a stone grill, and several small pedestal grills. There are two nearby restrooms and available parking. the tables are placed under large trees which provide plenty of shade.
