Fort Washington’s group picnic areas require a reservation April 1 through October 31. They can be reserved using Recreation.gov.
he B picnic area has four different areas that can be reserved, there is a large open field behind all the tables that is shared. There is one large parking lot shared by all the areas. A playground is in the area between B1 and B2. There are two restroom facilities on the outer edges of the space, closest to B1 and B4.
Picnic area B2 is a reserved area for up to 100 people. It has 15-17 picnic tables and several small pedestal grills. The area is mostly sunny with a couple of large trees which provide shade. Restrooms and playground are located nearby.
