This trail begins adjacent to the Fort Barrancas Visitor Center. Visitors may park next to the visitor center and begin the trail, which crosses the road and connects to Advanced Redoubt. Portions of the historic communication trench are visible all along the trail.
Use extreme caution crossing the busy highway. Bicycles are not permitted. The trail is 0.5 miles total.

Duration: 30-45 minutes

Note: This trail is inside Naval Air Station Pensacola, which is currently closed to the public. Visitors must have an eligible DoD ID to access the base and the Fort Barrancas area. We apologize for the inconvenience.
