This trail begins in the southeast corner of the Advanced Redoubt parkling lot. Visitors may park at Advanced Redoubt and begin the trail, which crosses the road and connects to Fort Barrancas and the visitor center. Portions of the historic communication trench are visible all along the trail.
Use extreme caution crossing the busy highway. Bicycles are not permitted. The trail is 0.5 miles total.

Note: This trail is inside Naval Air Station Pensacola, which is currently closed to the public. Visitors must have a military or federal ID to access the base and the Fort Barrancas area. We apologize for the inconvenience.
