Behind you stands Fort Pickens Campground Loops B-E. Close by, in front of overflow parking, you'll find a short Bay Trail that will take you down to the water if you choose. If not, cross over the wooden planks and continue straight, where you'll once again step onto a hard dirt path surrounded by vegetation. There is not much shade on this section of trail, so bring water and sun protection.
0.15 miles into this section you will find theĀ Blackbird Marsh Trail Loop, which also links up to campground Loop A. After about 0.75 to 1 mile of hiking, you can reach the Langdon Beach Pavillion, or a pavillion located near campground registration.
