Benches/Seating

Completed in 1821, this structure housed one full company of, around 60, enlisted men. Two rooms made up the first floor while the second level was a single dormitory. Soldiers would sleep in close quarters on the upper level and the lower was reserved for work as well as housing for some non-commissioned officers. For a time, the fort hospital was also here.

The building is currently empty, but occassionally open to the public during special events.
