Hours of Operation

Located near the entrance to Desert View Campground, Self-service gasoline and diesel fuel (pay at the pump with a credit or debit card) are available year-round, 24 hours a day. The Camper Store inside the gas station is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

On the South Rim of the park, the only gas station within park boundaries is this one, located at Desert View.

The Desert View Gas Station offers visitors one last chance to fill-up before heading to the next closest gas stations:

• 30 miles (48 km) east on SR 64 - in the town of Cameron, Arizona

 

• or 30 miles (48 km) west in the town of Tusayan, Arizona, just beyond the park's South Entrance Station.
   

When Desert View Campground is open for the season, a small camper store offers cold drinks and snacks, along with a limited selection of the following: camping supplies, groceries, auto accessories and discounted souvenir items, including Grand Canyon t-shirts. Camper Store hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

These items and more are available year-round at the nearby Desert View Market and Deli.
