Vaughn, Bobby Walker

Bobby Walker Vaughn was born on May 24, 1928, in Coffee County, Tennessee to John Hobbs and Elizabeth Walker Vaughn. He had one sibling named Jack. In his adulthood, he moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he married Myrtle Potts Vaughn. The two had eight children named Wayne, Kenneth, Billy, Vernon, Ricky, Linda, Judy, and Sandra.
During World War II, Bobby Vaughn served as a private with the 3310 Motor Vehicle Squadron of the United States Army Air Force. Information about his service is limited, but Private Vaughn survived the war and later moved to Smyrna, Tennessee where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Bobby died on December 5, 1971, at the age of 43 years old in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was interred at the Stones River National Cemetery in plot S-6975 two days after his death. He left behind his wife, Myrtle, and children. Myrtle joined Bobby in his final resting place after her passing on September 7, 1984.
