Harold Claude Jett was born on March 30, 1937 in Ohio and served as a Technical Sergeant in the US Air Force.

On December 10, 1964, he was involved in a plane crash after the JB-57B aircraft he was in crashed after takeoff from Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa, Florida.

Jett is buried at Stones River National Cemetery in plot P-6509.
