David Humphreys was the son of Rowland Humphreys. he was a laborer in the Riggers Loft in Summitville, a hitcher on Plane 8, an Assistant Engineer on Plane 8, a fireman, locomotive engineer, and also helped dismantle the railroad when it closed.
