Henry C. Crow was born in McMinn County, Tennessee. He served as a private in Company D of the 4th Tennessee Cavalry. The 4th Tennessee Cavalry was organized on February 9th, 1863. They served at Camp Spear in Tennessee until August. They were also stationed at Green Hill, Carthage, Nashville, and Murfreesboro while Crow served with them. Crow died on October 4th, 1863 of accidental wounds in Murfreesboro, TN.
Henry Crow is laid to rest in the Stones River National Cemetery in plot O-5602.
