Malcolm Ray Cardwell was born in 1935 and served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force. He was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and riding as a passenger in a C-123 that was practicing touch and go landings when it crashed on May 6, 1964. Cardwell died in the crash.
Cardwell is buried at Stones River National Cemetery in plot P-6502.
