Leonard Bevna Bostick was born on July 7, 1917, in Lincoln County, Tennessee. He grew up in Elora, Tennessee, working on his family’s farm alongside his eight siblings. Bostick had a deep love for animals, and his compassion inspired his desire to work in the medical field to help both people and animals.
During World War II, Bostick served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army Medical Department, providing essential care to soldiers in need. He died on July 18, 1943, while serving his country, leaving behind a legacy of service, compassion, and dedication to the welfare of others.
