Aaron Oliver was born circa 1750 at Malden, Massachusetts.^I

He joined the eight month’s service in the company of Capt. Ezra Town, in Col. James Reed’s 3^rd New Hampshire regiment of foot. The descriptive roll of the company lists him as follows:^II

occupation: farmer
birthplace: Malden
residence: Temple
enlisted: April 23, 1775
