Born in 1838 in Monongalia County, VA (now West Virginia), Aaron was a farmer before enlisting in 1861. Between September and October of 1862, Aaron was hospitalized in Alexandria, VA, there in no information available about the reason. After his release, he spent the remainder of the year at a convalescent camp. On July 2 or 3, Aaron was gut shot and succumbed to his wounds, dying July 10th, 1863.
