ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ON RESEARCH A Committee of the National Academy of Sciences, appointed at the request of the Secretary of the Interior, was instructed to report on the natural history research needs and opportunities in the National Park Service, in particular on those of the national parks.
