The Partnership Office helps the Service and its partners create, enhance, and recognize effective partnerships through facilitation, training, collaboration, communication and policy leadership. The Partnership Office provides:
- Assistance to parks, regional offices and program areas by facilitating the infrastructure investment in parks by partners (partnership construction process)
- Support and training on donation and fundraising policies
- Review of potential donations
- External coordination between the agency and key governmental and nongovernmental organizations, including the National Park Foundation, national consortiums of park support groups and community based organizations
- Coordination of national marketing campaigns
