The National Park Service (NPS) works closely with many partners to protect and enhance the Wild and Scenic Rivers placed under its care. State and local governments are often involved. Rivers seldom follow political boundaries or property lines and stewardship is a responsibility shared by all.

Interagency

The NPS is a member of the Interagency Wild and Scenic Rivers Coordinating Council, which includes members from the following agencies:

National Non-Profit

The NPS works with a number of National nonprofit partners to promote consistent stewardship for the national system.
