Examples of past projects:

  • Learning Adventures at Lake Mead National Recreation Area - The Partners Outside Las Vegas Foundation, the National Park Service and the Lower Colorado River Water Trail Alliance provided experiential educational opportunities for 200 Southern Nevada YMCA youth.   • Groundwork Richmond Green Team and Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park - “Green Team” youth reached out to the Richmond, CA community to collaborate on a new community-designed park, install a mural, and clean up the surrounding area. They also completed a service learning project with Pt. Reyes National Seashore and an educational/recreational kayaking program with San Francisco Maritime National Park.
