Ten National Historic Trails

The National Trails Office works to protect, develop, and promote long-distance historic trails that played key roles in America’s exploration, migration, trade, warfare, and cultural exchange. National Trails (NTIR) administers 10 National Historic Trails across over 28,000 miles and 24 states.
