Olympic National Park will join national park units around the country in waiving entrance fees for all visitors to the park this weekend, November 10-12, in honor of U.S. Veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. "We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of our veterans and service men and women," said Acting Superintendent Todd Suess. "We invite to you enjoy Olympic National Park, one of our country's national treasures, during this holiday weekend of reflection and gratitude." Entrance fee waivers during the holiday weekend apply to all public lands managed by the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture. Park visitors are reminded that the fee-free designation applies to entrance fees only and does not affect fees for camping, reservations, tours, or use of concessions. |
