"Get inspired outdoors" New England trail ridge runners, holyoke, massachusetts

In Holyoke Massachusetts, Yamira Vasquez and Jose Garcia spent the summer working as the first Ridge Runners for the New England National Scenic Trail. The experience gave them the chance to be mentors to younger Youth Conservation Corps members, to interact with hikers along the trail, and to consider pursuing a career working in an environmental fields.

The "Get Inspired Outdoors" video series highlights summer youth programs in Providence, RI, Holyoke, MA, and Lewiston/Auburn, Maine. Youth in these programs had transformative experiences creating, exploring, and gaining valuable leadership skills.
