Lions Bike Park

Over 70 volunteers gathered this past summer to build the Goldstream Valley Lions Club bike pump park and skills course in Fairbanks, Alaska.

The NPS Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance program helped project partners find grant money through Alaska's Recreational Trails Program, identified pump park design/build experts to lead the workshop (Alpine Trails), and joined everyone else to shovel and pound the dirt to make it all real.
