Notice to the Public: Temporary Closure of the northbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway from MD-32 to MD-175

March 31, 2026: At the request of the Maryland State Highway Administration, the National Park Service is temporarily closing the northbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway from MD-32 to MD-175 from 10:00 pm on Friday, April 17 until 5:00 am on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Violation is prohibited. A map illustrating the closed park areas is attached.
This temporary closure is necessary to provide for visitor safety during the demolition of the MD-175 overpass bridge.
Persons using these park areas should remove themselves and any property from the closed areas.
The National Park Service appreciates the public’s cooperation in this matter.
