The article concludes, “From West and East, from North and South, women come to Washington bringing their own local and personal peculiarities.  Others need what they have in excess.  They assume something of what others throw off.  Each woman helps her sister, and all are better for the contact.  They arrive in the national capital women of Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, or New York; they leave it women of America.
            Washington is a city of happy mediums!
