Monocacy National Battlefield Hours
Park: 7:00 a.m. to 20 minutes following sunset

Monocacy National Battlefield is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Monocacy National Battlefield's ranger programs are seasonal and are available daily between May 30 to September 5.
Battle Orientation programs are 30-45 minute introductions to the Battle of Monocacy. Ranger Hikes will take place on the Junction Trail or the Gambrill Mill Trail. Maximum distance for Ranger Hikes is up to one mile an may take 45-60 minutes to complete. Hands-on-History programs are 45-60 minute activities that require visitor participation. Activities may include Mock Artillery or Infantry Drill, and handling museum artifacts. The daily ranger schedule is as follows:
Monday - Friday - Meet in the Visitor Center Lobby.

Saturday & Sunday - Meet in the Visitor Center Lobby.
11:00 a.m. | Ranger Hike (1 mile)
