Plan Your Visit

Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home National Monument is a new unit of the national park system. In the coming months the National Park Service will develop plans to accommodate visitors.

The national monument is located in the Medgar Evers Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its significance as the first modern subdivision designed for middle-class African Americans after World War II in Mississippi.
