Medgar and Myrlie Evers National Monument is a new national park unit located in Jackson, Mississippi. Guided tours by reservation only. An accessible ramp provides access into the house. The house is old, and not generally accessible. Visitors using larger wheelchairs or powerchairs may have to transfer to a smaller wheelchair to see the majority of the house. The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum highlights Medgar Evers in its permanent exhibits. The museum is wheelchair accessibility and family friendly. Accessible parking is available.
