Alpine Visitor Center

Rocky Mountain National Park

This webcam, located at 11,796’, is now in winter operation mode and offers a view of the remote windswept alpine tundra. While this landscape may show patchy snow, there are deep drifts covering much of Trail Ridge Road, which will remain closed until late May. The webcam image may be obscured by snow or frost at times and the temperature reading is inaccurate. If the webcam fails, it will not be repaired until the end of May when this location is safely accessible again. The Alpine Visitor Center Winter Webcam reveals a morning, midday, and afternoon view of the Fall River canyon, Old Fall River Road, Mount Chapin, and part of Trail Ridge.
