Hello, I’m Peter Kasin, a park ranger at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, bring you another in the series of sheltered-in chanteys. This one used at the capstan, “Clear Away the Track, Let the Bulgine Run”, popular in the mid-19th century clipper ships, and an example of both African American and Irish influences in chanteys of that period.
