Our Tangible Past: A Nervous Night at Buckman Tavern

Description

In the early pre-dawn hours of April 19, 1775 members of the Lexington militia company waited nervously in the Buckman Tavern for the British column to arrive. In this video we will take you to Buckman Tavern and also to Concord Museum where you will see and hear a case clock that was at Buckman Tavern, ticking away the anxious hours that fateful night. FYI, the ticking clock at the end of the video is the ACTUAL Buckman clock that still works!
