Description

How to say "my sweetheart" in Ojibwemowin.

Holidays were more recently introduced in Ojibwe communities, so there are not standardized words for most holidays. Attaching giizhigad (day) to niinimoshenh is one way we can say Valentine’s Day: Niinimoshenh-giizhigad (Sweetheart’s Day).
