A group of 16 men and three women organize themselves on the front steps of Camp Roosevelt to be filmed by the motion picture camera. Director Stephen T. Mather and Superintendent Horace M. Albright are wearing National Park Service ranger uniforms.
A part of six men drive away in an open-top auto tour bus, waving to the camera as the leave.
A man and woman, the Crown Prince and Princess of Sweden, sit next to a man driving a horse-drawn coach. Three rows of men in suits are passengers in the coach. The coach moves forward jostling all of the passengers.
Stephen Mather stands using his movie camera to film a scene in the distance.
The coach party stopped in the grass, talking and looking at something off camera.
A herd of bison on the far side of a grassy field moves along a fence line below a small mountain. Eventually a man on a horse who had been herding the bison comes into view and rides along the side of the moving bison herd.

The horse-drawn coach and its passengers drive away. The Crown Prince and Princess are back sitting in the front next to the driver.

Silent black-and-white film of the Crown Prince and Princess of Sweden visiting Yellowstone National Park on July 2, 1926. The party visited a bison round up. Stephen T. Mather and Horace M. Albright can both be seen. Still images taken in Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, and Mesa Verde national parks are included and described by intertitles. The film created by Frank M. Warren of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1927. This film is no longer in copyright. Digitized from the original film in the NPS History Collection.
