Parker, author of “Unceasing Militant: The Life and Times of Mary Church Terrell”, which examines the life and work Terrell, one of the most important women in American history. Dr. Parker also speaks about how Frederick Douglass's mentorship and friendship shaped Terrell's activism throughout her life and how she worked to preserve his memory after his death.
