Introduction to Native American Heritage Month 2020

Description

General Grant National Memorial Celebrates Native American Heritage Month with two special programs. We invite you to join us for special programming to honor Native American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians this month. Join us on Saturday November 21 @ 12:00 noon for the story of Ely Parker, Commissioner of Native American Affairs for President Ulysses S. Grant, and on Saturday November 28 @ 12:00 noon for learning about Grant's "Peace Policy" with Indian groups during his presidency.
