Description

In many ways the story of the Battle of Fredericksburg is as much about opportunities lost as it is victories won. The fighting that took place at Marye's Heights is the most famous of the battle, but likely not the most important. If opportunities had not been lost in the fighting at Prospect Hill, the Battle of Fredericksburg could have had a different outcome.
