Minute In It - Hospital

Join us as we take a look at the hospital and some of the activities that might have gone on in the many rooms. Where you can find the hospital now and where this video was filmed is not the original location of the Post Hospital at Fort Larned. Originally, the Post Hospital was in an adobe structure north of the east barracks but moved to the Cavalry Barracks in 1871. Many of the patients in the hospital wouldn’t be suffering from battle wounds, but instead were there because of stomach issues.
