Interview with Artist-In-Residence Stan Honda

During this past November, we were joined here at the Monument by Artist-in-Residence Stan Honda. Stan is a New York City-based photographer who specializes in shooting the night sky. During his residency, he used the adobe ruins and prairie landscapes of Fort Union as centerpieces in his photographs of the Milky Way, planets, stars.

In this video, Stan discusses his work, his career, his process of taking photos, and how he finds inspiration in Fort Union's dark skies.
